Born in Dewey, OK, I lived in Alluwe and Nowata, OK, until college. I graduated from OSU in 1969 and married Loretta Susie Bridwell, May 30, 1969. We lived in Delaware and Texas, before moving back to Oklahoma in 1993. She died of breast cancer in 2002, and I am currently remarried to Wanda Shuey as of 11/15/03. We live on a farm west of Forgan, OK, in the panhandle.
Spiritual Independence Day To summarize how to be made free from sin and its ultimate consequence: If you will confess with your mouth, Jesus is LORD and believe in your heart, you will be saved. (cf. Christian Bible, Romans 10:9)
Hope
For by God's mercy are you saved through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and not of your own good deeds. Eternal life is a gift from God, not a reward for good works, because we would boast. (cf. Christian Bible, Ephesians 2:8-9)
My Thoughts
Our steel will rust, but in God we can trust.
Financial investments require risks to receive rewards, but eternal investments are a sure thing. God cannot go bankrupt, always declares His dividends, and you can take it with you when you die.
